How Sherman Home Inspections Began Sherman Home Inspections, Inc. was started 28 years ago by George M. and Barbara E. Sherman of Middleborough, MA. First known under the name of "George M. Sherman Professional Home Inspection Consultant", the company was incorporated on October 1, 1984, changing its name officially to Sherman Home Inspections, Inc.

Throughout the years the company has become known for its excellent customer service and its knowledgeable inspectors who enjoy teaching clients about their potential purchase. Client attendance and participation is encouraged and welcomed! Also noteworthy are our impartial and comprehensive inspections (most of our home inspections take approximately 3 ½ - 4 hours), our personal attentiveness tailored to the clients' needs (clients are encouraged to ask questions and participate in the inspection process, as well as call the office back if they have any further questions), and the willingness of our personnel to go that extra mile for our clients (we've recently added document digital photos of troubled areas as part of our inspection report)!

After the death of George on September 11, 1998, Barbara continued with the business, eventually elevating Guy Occhino to the Vice Presidency position. As partners they work well as a team and have built a solid foundation from which to serve clients moving into the area from surrounding, national, and even international communities.
